Susan Boyle To Work With Rapper On New Album?
The offers seem to be flooding in...
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle is to sing alongside an American hip-hop star when she starts work on her second album next month.
A source told The Sunday Mirror: “They are looking at ballads and more musical style stuff, but this time around they want to try to make her a recording artist – original material, and giving Susan a chance to show what she’s really all about. She’s got an opportunity to find herself and she loves all sorts of music – including rap.
“Her management know that she’s a huge success around the globe and if she were to work with one of the big stars of the rap world they know they’d probably have an instant hit on their hands if it was done correctly.”
The 49-year-old star has already had a number of offers from American artists such as Snoop Dogg, Lady GaGa and 50 Cent, who are keen to work with her.
Snoop Dogg said: “She’s a great artist. I’m looking forward to going into the studio with her, why not? We’re going to get our minds together and figure out what we’re going to sing about. I’m down with that.”
Boyle is particularly keen to duet with Lady GaGa.
She said: "I think Lady Gaga is a wonderful artist and completely original and I like her costumes. Love it! Yes, I'd love to do a duet with her, complete with telephone hat too!"
